The road to success:
And here we are on the first day of school. Mac has really bonded with Matt, so they worked together very well throughout the obedience lessons.
Mac was kind of nervous about all the other dogs at school, so Matt had to give him a pep talk about making friends.
Look at that intense look of concentration on Mac's face! He's trying so hard to do the right thing and make Matt happy.
Working on "stay," which was really difficult for poor Mac!
Matt and Mac listening carefully to the teacher. By the third week, Mac was doing pretty well with the other dogs and was no longer scared.
And he finally made it! Here we are at his graduation from beginning obedience. We brought Becker along so that Mac could have the support of the whole family. Look at how proud Mac looks!
Becker had the same teacher for his obedience courses, so it was fun for him to see her again.
Becker was very proud of his brother.
Mac is waiting for his graduation certificate. He looks so focused, and Becker is just his old goofball self.
